KEY TAKEAWAYS
Palo, Palo Steakhouse and Palo Trattoria dropped the $55 four-course prix fixe dinner between Oct 22 and Oct 26, 2026. Dinner is now à la carte only.
On the Disney Wish’s Palo Steakhouse menu, starters run $12 to $25, pasta and seafood $16 to $40, and steaks and Wagyu $27 to $80, before an 18% service charge.
The original Palo added A5 Wagyu, Chilean sea bass, a cheese course and a limoncello soufflé. The Amaretto soufflé, salmon, tuna and penne are gone.
Platinum and Pearl Castaway Club members get a $55 per-person credit toward dinner. It doesn’t cover brunch, which stays a $55 set menu.
THE AMARETTO SOUFFLÉ is off the Palo menu, and so is the $55 four-course dinner. Between Oct 22 and Oct 26, 2026, every Disney Cruise Line ship dropped it, and Palo dinner is now à la carte only.
I’m a Platinum Castaway Club member with 10+ sailings since 2004, and Palo is usually my dress-up night onboard. I went through the new menus dish by dish to see what changed and what dinner costs now.
Quick answer: Palo no longer offers a $55 set dinner. Since late October 2026, Palo dinner is à la carte only on every ship, from $6 sides to an $80 porterhouse on the Disney Wish’s Palo Steakhouse menu. Palo brunch is still $55 per person.

When Palo dropped the $55 dinner, ship by ship
Disney Cruise Line emailed Platinum and Pearl members on Oct 15, 2026 that its Palo restaurants would replace the prix-fixe dinner with “a selection of our Guest’s favorite items.” Palo menus already had an à la carte side. The set-price option is what’s gone.
THE ROLLOUT
Oct 22. Disney Wonder
Oct 23. Disney Dream, Disney Fantasy, Disney Wish
Oct 24. Disney Magic, Disney Treasure, Disney Destiny
Oct 26. Disney Adventure
Which Palo you get depends on the ship. The original Palo is on the Magic, Wonder, Dream and Fantasy. The Wish, Treasure and Destiny have Palo Steakhouse, which adds steaks and Wagyu to the Italian menu, and the Disney Believe gets one when it debuts in December 2027. The Disney Adventure has Palo Trattoria.
What’s new and what’s gone at the original Palo
The original Palo’s menu changed the most. @dcl_duo compared the new menu with the old one item by item, and several of the additions came over from Palo Steakhouse.
NEW AT THE ORIGINAL PALO
Japanese A5 Wagyu in 2, 4 or 6 oz
12oz Prime New York sirloin
Pan-seared Chilean sea bass
Yellowfin crudo
Fennel and citrus salad
Limoncello soufflé
A cheese course with honeycomb and fig orange chutney
White and black truffles, at market price
NO LONGER ON THE MENU
Amaretto soufflé
Limoncello tart
Penne and the Bianca pizza
Pan-seared salmon
Grilled tuna
Saffron arancini
Tuscan white bean soup and mesclun salad
Orange almond cake and apple crostata
The vegetarian section is gone as its own section, though the grilled portobello stays with a vegetarian mark.
The additions lean toward the splurge end: Wagyu, truffles, a cheese course. A relaxed Italian night still works, with pasta, a salad and the chocolate soufflé.

What Palo dinner costs now
BY THE NUMBERS, DISNEY WISH
$12–25
starters and salads
$16–40
pasta and seafood
$27–80
steaks and Wagyu
An 18% service charge goes on the bill, and drinks are extra. I cover how that charge works in how gratuities work on Disney Cruise Line.
THREE WAYS TO ORDER
A $55 dinner. Yellowfin crudo ($14), osso buco ($32) and tiramisù ($9). That’s the old set price, or $64.90 with the service charge.
A steak night. Caprese ($16), the 8oz Prime tenderloin ($44), two sides ($12) and the chocolate soufflé ($15). That’s $87, about $103 with the service charge.
The splurge. Palo antipasto ($25), 4oz of A5 Wagyu ($55), the limoncello soufflé ($15) and the cheese course ($12). That’s $107, about $126 with the service charge.
GABE'S TAKE
Palo used to have a prix fixe option. Now I’d budget it like a steakhouse dinner: two adults who each order a starter, a steak, sides and dessert should plan on about $200 with the service charge, before wine. A pasta night with a shared dessert can still land near the old $55 a person.
The Castaway Club credit and Palo brunch
Platinum and Pearl members get a “$55.00 USD per person credit” toward à la carte dinner, in Disney Cruise Line’s wording. It covers the member and everyone in their stateroom, once per sailing. The member has to be at the table, drinks and the service charge aren’t covered, and any unused credit is forfeited.
On a recent Disney Destiny sailing, for example, the credit took $165 off dinner for my party of three. Silver and Gold members don’t get a Palo credit. The rest of the benefits by level are in my Castaway Club guide.
Brunch stays a $55-per-person set menu, and the credit doesn’t apply to it. Disney Cruise Line has told guests it will honor credit-covered brunch reservations made before Oct 15, 2026, though guests report mixed answers onboard. If that’s you, keep the confirmation email.

Client review
How to get a Palo reservation
Palo books in your activities window, which opens on a countdown from your sail date: 75 days for first-time cruisers, 90 at Silver, 105 at Gold, 120 at Platinum and 123 at Pearl. Concierge guests can request it through their shoreside team at 130 days. The window opens only once you’ve paid in full, so check your dates in my booking windows calculator and final payment calculator.
Popular sailings fill fast. On a recent Disney Destiny inaugural sailing, Palo brunch was gone before Platinum members could book.
Celebrating with a group? Every Palo has a private room you can request, for parties of about 8 to 14 depending on the ship. With my group of eight on the Disney Treasure, we had the Palo Steakhouse private room right at sunset, dressed up for photos, and shared some of the Wagyu.
Planning a Palo night on your next sailing?
Tell me your ship and sail date, and I’ll tell you when your window opens and which night I’d book Palo.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does Palo still have a $55 per person option?
Not for dinner. Since Oct 26, 2026, Palo dinner is à la carte only on every Disney Cruise Line ship. Brunch is still $55 per person.
When did Palo remove the $55 dinner?
The switch started on the Disney Wonder on Oct 22, 2026, and reached the Disney Adventure on Oct 26.
Does the Castaway Club credit cover Palo brunch?
No. Platinum and Pearl members get a $55 per-person credit toward dinner only. Brunch is $55 per person for every guest.
How much is A5 Wagyu at Palo Steakhouse?
On the Disney Wish’s Oct 23, 2026 menu, Japanese A5 Wagyu strip loin is $30 for 2oz, $55 for 4oz and $75 for 6oz. Snake River black Wagyu starts at $27 for a 6oz strip loin.
Is the Amaretto soufflé still on the Palo menu?
No. The Amaretto soufflé is off the new menu at the original Palo, and the Disney Wish’s Palo Steakhouse menu from Oct 23, 2026 doesn’t have it either. Both now offer a limoncello soufflé alongside the chocolate soufflé.
Do Silver and Gold members get a Palo credit?
No. The credit is a Platinum and Pearl benefit. Silver and Gold members still book activities earlier than first-time cruisers, which helps when Palo fills up.
